Used extensive personal network of IT professionals, developers, and computer professionals to quickly staff positions with top-quality candidates. Extremely proficient with Internet and computer-based sources and systems. Charged with fulfilling Wang's commitment to Microsoft of developing 2,500 MCSEs over a three year period. Awarded maximum bonuses for meeting and exceeding quotas each quarter. Analyst's wrote that most of Wang's $3B value to Getronics was their wealth of technical talent.

WANTUG is a non-profit organization committed to the advancement of Windows NT-based solutions through open forums, user groups, education, and other media. Founded and directed this international association of over 300 NT user groups representing over 450,000 members. Successfully presented WANTUG Business Plan to Microsoft's Steve Ballmer and received funding for the organization. Have developed a world wide network of technical advanced NT and network experts and a wide-ranging set of contacts within Microsoft and Microsoft's ECU, OCU, BandPS units. Presently serving as an advisor in the development and delivery of Microsoft's TechNet program for enterprise professionals.

President, Association of Windows NT Systems Professionals, Washington, DC 1993 - 2001. The world's first Windows NT-based group, NT*Pro was personally co-launched in October 1993 by Microsoft CEO Bill Gates and Charles Kelly. The group currently has over 33,500 members and covers Windows NT, all Microsoft BackOffice products and 32-bit development. The group has an excellent relationship with, and full support from, Microsoft Corporate and both the Microsoft Federal and Mid-Atlantic regional offices. Charles was a member of the Advisory Committee for Microsoft's 1996, 1997 and 1998 TechEd events. This association resulted in high visibility in the technical and developer communities serving Windows NT and BackOffice. Additionally, it has positioned Charles as the source for Windows NT related technical information and news within that community.

Editorial Review Board Member, Windows NT Magazine, Loveland, CO 1995 - 1999. Worked with editorial staff prior to first issue to define direction and topics for this 100,000+ circulation magazine. Reviews submissions of articles, makes decisions on article content, provides technical review of articles, and serves as a technical resource to the magazine's staff. Windows NT Magazine is the magazine of choice for professional systems administrators and Windows NT certified professionals. Authored numerous articles.

Regional Director, Microsoft Developer Days Program, Redmond, WA 1994 - 1998. One of "The Original 8 Regional Directors" selected world-wide to develop this pivotal Microsoft program. Microsoft Developer Relations Group's main point-of-contact for all Internet Platform and Development Tools-related programs in the US Mid-Atlantic Region. Has been associated with Microsoft's developer programs for several years on many different levels. Is a key player at various summit meetings and serves on numerous Microsoft advisory councils. He has been, and continues to be, an integral part of the product-planning cycle for many Microsoft Internet and development tools. Developed a wide-ranging network of contacts and working relationships within Microsoft's Developer Relations Group and among the 3 million+ Visual Basic and Visual C++ developers.
